Chester trying to convince Smoke that it is too playtime! Smoke died a few months back. Sweet cat. All she needed was a full food dish, clean litter box, a lap, and lots of petting. Next two pics are Howard as a kitten and then grown. He's my buddy from down the street. Doesn't have much of a home but refuses to live here full time. When I met him he was a skinny little tom who got picked on. I fed him up and now he is the big cat. Got him fixed too. He doesn't seem to hold it against me lol.
Next pic is Maggie and Tiger. Maggie was my all time favorite. Last pic is one of the strays that show up from time to time. He now has a home w/ a lady that I'd like to have as my human if I was a cat.

Love your cat stories and I am very sorry for your losses. It's soo tough when out little ones pass on. Your gray cat looks like the feral that came to my patio for 7 years. I did a trap, neuter and release back to my patio and by the 7th year he disappeared. Always wonder what happened to him. Posted pics but got no response. What a difference in the pictures after you fattened him up

Hi Hummingbird. Yeah the disappearing part...that's tough. Maggie, the tortoise shell in the pic above...she just disappeared one day. She was an indoor cat and very sweet and affectionate. My mom let her out one day and she was never seen again. My mom was well into her dementia at the time so it wasn't her fault really.
Howard is big but he's still a wimp He is very good with the two stray kits that a neighbors cat left here.
Chester is quite proud of that tail. It's always straight up where it can be seen. I tease him about his "tale"
Glad you liked it. You can share him...in a virtual way
