My mom's cat Mollye likes raw hamburger also but if you cook it she won't eat it. She looks at you like you ruined it you cooked it.

The first time our kitten figured out how to get on the counter, he ate an entire bowl of homemade gumbo... My husband's bowl. That's his favorite meal so he wasn't too happy with the cat!!

We have a pecan tree in our backyard, and even though we discourage it, our dog brings unshelled pecans into our house, hidden in her mouth, and then shells them in her crate at night and eats the pecans from them. We've never caught her smuggling them in or seen them whole. In the morning when we get up we just find the shells all over in her crate!!

My cat last night was eating fresh cilantro. Yesterday morning, he was eating paint chips, but his fav snack ever are bugs. I think he sees them as flying meatballs.

Oooh, I forgot the best one! When our dog was a puppy, she pulled the plastic eye off of a build-a-bear. Later, I was in the backyard and there was an eye staring up at me from her doo-doo!!! Sooo funny.

My first dog Beethoven ate a whole box of HOHOs. The plastic wrapping, cardboard, and Ho Ho's. He thought he was in heaven. That was until I had to make him throw it all up. Chocolate will kill and he had eaten 8 Ho Ho's.

What really blew me away was the wrappers and cardboard too.

He used to pull bread off the counter or wherever he could get access to it and eat whatever was available. 1/2 a loaf, a whole loaf. Didn't matter. I had to hide all food stuffs. There was nothing he wouldn't eat. Including anything in the trash.

I loved him dearly and miss him to this day. I miss his eating antics. Sometimes it was nice to have a doggie vacuum in kitchen if I dropped something.

Wonderful thread.
