My dog hasn't been himself the past few days, He has been shaking his head and yelping when anyone touches his head especially near his ears

Took him the vet today, they said one of his ears is inflamed so they gave him steroids and antibiotics, I dislike seeing him ill like this, He has been so grumpy lately, He is normally playful.

Last year he had to have one of his ear canals removed because he kept getting ear infections now it is the same ear that is inflamed
