Or do you show them videos of birds or fish, like on youtube? I have one who goes nuts for this great youtube bird video and another loves the fishtank one. I informed them that we are not getting a bird (been there) or a fishtank (been there when I was growing up). It's hilarious how they react and interesting how each cat reacts to different things.
My one cat, the calico who loves the birds, will also watch regular tv with me sometimes and loves sports like football and soccer...she has always been a trip that way.

My cat is more interested in standing in front of the TV as if to say: "Watch me instead!"
Thanks for this!

Nope, Sir isn't interested in the TV or ipad games. However he has a really sweet set up w/ a picture window seat that looks out at a tree w/ birds, squirrels and bugs that he really enjoys.

Buddy doesn't really watch tv, but when he notices the mouse cursor moving around on the screen, he reacts as if it were a laser or a flashlight beam on a wall, haha.

Typically he doesn't watch TV. He either curls up on a pet bed beside us or lies on my chest with his face all up in mine, purring like a motorboat. However, whenever Game of Thrones was on this season he did face the TV. Typically lying belly up such that his perspective was all upside down, but who's to say that isn't an excellent way to watch the show? He's probably following all the narrative threads about as well as I am.
