I got two kittens 2 weeks ago. I want a place to keep their stories so I thought this would be a good place. I hope people enjoy reading about their antics. Feel free to respond, share your own stories, give advice or ask questions.

An Introduction: Charlie and Chloe

I got my kitties 2 weeks ago from the local Human Society. Their names are Charlie and Chloe. They are domestic short hair cats. They are from the same litter. They were found abandoned at less than a month old and brought to the local humane society as two of 11 kittens. They were the only two left of their litter. They are now 4 months and 2 weeks old, but Charlie dates as younger because he was so sick when he was brought in that he is behind in his development.

They are black and white cats. Charlie has more black on him, with black on his shoulders, hi nose (which looks like he put it in an ink pad), and on his legs and paws. Chloe is smaller in size and more agile than Charlie. She is more skittish, and will often run away when I walk past her (though this is getting less). Though when she comes for pets she loves to lay on my chest/stomach and/or shoulder and demand stroking.

Their favorite game is chase and tackle and chase the laser pointer. They spend a lot of time sleeping (those sleepy heads ) either together in one cat bed or apart in different ones or on me when I'm sleeping. They believe that whenever I enter the kitchen it is time for them to get wet food.

I love my kittens. They are sweet and loving.

Thanks for reading and I hope you continue to follow my Kitty Tails.

I have two cats as well. They are brothers, from the same litter but one is black and white (as is his two other siblings and mother) and the other is grey and white. They were born in the seat of a jeep owned by a woman my husband worked for off and on over the last year and she brought them to her distillery. The grey one was named Hemingway at the distillery and we kept that name then named the other Gatsby as I'm a bit of a literature geek.

I have two cats as well. Sometimes, they're the only source of unconditional love I have in my life. I also care for a feral/stray colony. Happy to share any kitty stories or info, feel free to PM.
