I am getting my cats some special kitty treats and my dog some diet Pupperoni treats, if I can find them, for Christmas.

Speaking of pet gifts, I found a special reflective vest for my sister's dog to wear when she is taken for a walk. The poor thing's back is almost bare, because she has a fungal infection and the hair is not growing back very well. It has some padding which should provide some warmth.

What are you folks getting your pets for the holidays?

The dogs are getting new reflective vests to keep them more visible during hunting season (even though we don't hunt) as some times the hunters stray onto my land despite the postings and as their current ones are beyond repair. They will also get treats, Dingos, in particular, as they love those. However Christmas day they are getting large meaty soup bones; I love to see them with them as they wag their tails the entire time that they chew on them, or carry them around like proud parents the rest of the time, tails still wagging. I just have to keep them from burying them.

I got the cat a tunnel that makes crinkely sounds when they go through. They'll get treats too. The dogs will get dog buscuits. I'll hand out carrots to the horses. I doubt I'll give the chickens anything special, maybe sit and pet them a bit?

This isn't a present, but I bought an elf hat that I'm going to put on the dogs and take their pictures. I'll post some after I take them.
Thanks for this!

I bought the same 'gift' for my monsters last year. then I mistakenly left it on the coffee table after trying to get them to pose in it. ripped to shreds! I think my dogs don't like hats. I hope you get better photos than I did. I'd love to see them!

I got the cat a window perch and a toy. I got the dogs all new collars, and my hairless girl got a new fleece blanket and the other 2 got some stuffies. I'm going to make some yam jerky too.
Thanks for this!

Dogs are getting treats and toys - like a stocking full They're thieves - beagle stole a teddy when I was wrapping and then disappeared with a rope and ball too!
Hamster is getting some new toys for his cage He had a climbing frame thing to chew but I gave it him early.

My cats have pretty much everything... I think I will log offline Christmas day most of the day and just snuggle a lot with the kitties. Richie and Joanie are with me still... Felix went to heaven in September at 16 1/2 years old. He has joined Fonzie and Chachi, former cats of mine, there.

I asked my parents for Christmas for a big climbing thing for my cats as the love to be up high. I think they are going to be getting that as my dad called today to ask questions about what type I wanted. So that would be their gift for Christmas. If I do'nt get that from my parents I will probably get them a smaller climbing structure. They love being up high so I want to get them somewhere they can do that without it being on top of my counters. :P

Id love to get him a cat tree (thats what you mean Googley) but Im probably going to have to move again so its not a good idea as a new place may not have space/ allow it. Instead I will find some bunk bed ladders and a giant cardboard box and make a `house' to sit on the wardrobe. The ladders will start from the top of a set of drawers. I think he will like this. He gets new toys too but I buy them all year anyway. I may get him a memory foam cat bed but I know he wont use it much as he sleeps on my head! He may use it when Im out.
Thanks for this!
