Also they don't seem to make boxes large enough for the two largest cats here. Poor guys only have room for 2 feet in and 2 feet out. And sometimes they miss lol.
And for anyone who remembers Howie, he still makes sand... er litter castles ![]() |

That too! I had a cat that used to scare people he was so big. I got his boxes at the hardware store but that can be hit or miss too.

Michanne,
The cat attract brand litter helped me with the problem of peeing outside the box. There is cat attract litter and cat attract additive that you are supposed to mix in with the regular litter. I have tried both and prefer cat attract litter. I think the brand is dr elsey's. |

I had that for one of my cats. The problem was he had recurring urinary tract infections and was obese. He was miserable, the poor guy. I was naive about diet so he got fat. At one point he was going to the vet every month. Anything but a cardboard diet would cause diarrhea. Finally took up the carpets. My other cat used it until she couldn't anymore. If there are medical issues no cat attract will work. That's my take away
![]() My current cat hates anything scented. She's also declawed (not by me!) so I thought she would like the paper kind which is softer. There is faint natural smell which she didn't like although now she is using it. I have one clay and one paper. Decided to give it a longer try because I had this huge bag I can't return. Her background is she was in a hoarder house in the basement with no light for a long time. I won't go into the gross details of what she looked like when she was rescued. The woman had 70 cats. She was one of the early ones. Then she went to a no kill shelter for at least a year until somebody took her. That person returned her for peeing everywhere. She was angry so the most the shelter owner could get out of her was that she used scented litter. I think the shelter owner thought she would be there for life. She's 11. As long as it is unscented, soft and clean she is fine. She's great! You'd never know all the trouble she went through. ![]() Think of the older ones next time you adopt! ![]() Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I try to clean my cats litter boxes once a day, but sometimes I skip a day because I'm too lazy to do it. I have three cats and two litter boxes.

Now that I have 3 boxes for 2 cats, it had become better and once a day seems to be enough.
