Yesterday I went to Petco and bought two MORE hermit crabs. Now I'm a proud mommy of five sweet purple pinchers divided into two crabitats. Whenever I go in there to look at them, my dogs try to see what it is I'm looking at. I hope they're not jealous!

I do the same thing, I can't go into a pet store and not walk away with a treat for my kitten.
Thanks for this!

Oh I love those little buggers. Here in Sweden they really do not have pet stores like the States and I miss it, but probably good because I would have like 10 cats and anything else I could afford! Congrats on the addition to your family.

hermit crabs are great! they are fun to watch pretty easy to take care of. you do have to watch out for those pinchers though!
