My poor cat is sick. She ate carpet and messed up her intestines. I'm so worried about her.
We are giving her meds, but it may not be enough.
The surgery is expensive and it may not work. It would be very high risk and I'm on a fixed income.
I'm so stressed.
She is fighting us tooth and nail every time she has to take the meds.
I wish she was better...poor cat

I hope she is better soon. I know you must be devastated but maybe the medicine will help her.

Thank you. Yeah, it is hard knowing she is suffering. I am completely worried about her well being. I hope the medication helps her heal.

Hurry up and get some hairball gel (come sin a tube) it will help your kitty throw up. I don't what the details are but my kitty has eaten carpet, rubber bands and who knows what else but when I see him acting a little sick I use the gel and then after an hour I give him a bit of "mineral oil" sold at Wal-mart for constipation (use a syringe without a needle).

That seems to get him back to normal in a day or two. Good luck, kitties can be sort of unpredictable sometimes.
Thanks for this!

Please check in with the vet before you give the cat this gel. It may be that the gel will be doing the opposite to the medication that the vet has given you. Or it may be the same and it will be an overdose. Please be careful.

Labour and possum both are right. Check first- then use one of those thick mineral oil paste if vet says ok. I would not use it normally as its not very good for cats but for this situation yes. It coats matter in the gut and creates a slimy package to push through. Thinking of kitty
