She refuses to look at herself in the mirror! Even from a kitten, I've tried to show her herself to see how she'd react but she would look at everything in the mirror but herself. Today I took a selfie of her with my laptop and she wouldn't look at herself. Is this there a reason why my cat doesn't like to look at herself? She's very curious about everything, but never looks at herself. I know this is a weird question but I was wondering if there was some reason behind it. Thanks.

Is she afraid of other cats? She may think the cat in the mirror is a different, aggressive cat.

Most of the cats I've been around will look at their reflections when they're kittens but lose interest when they get older. Being cats, not 100% of them do anything the same way.
Thanks for this!
