Hey there,
So my sister and I were having an argument, because we always argue about something, and the argument today was about her rabbits.
Lu & Bailey
Lu is a sweet white lion-head and something else rabbit
Bailey is a *****y brown rabbit (I have no idea what kind she is)
Anyways the other day I was petting Lu and Bailey bolted across the pen and growled at me. Bucking her front legs and trying to bite me.
Now when I told my sister she insists that Bailey (or any rabbit) does not growl.

Post your thoughts on this as well as your experiences and any other stories that involve the topic of "Rabbits"

Thank You!!

My daughter had one that growled and attacked me when I was trying to feed. She didn't do it to my daughter only to me. So I agree that they can and do growl.

They can and do growl. I have had this experience as well when I had rabbits years ago. It can be startling as it is intended to be as a part of their protective nature to warn you to stay away. Typically they are fearful, sick, or tired and want to be left alone. I'd growl myself if I could during these times too to be left alone if I could get away with it. Sometimes it is a form a aggression though and have to be careful in these instances of it escalating and harming someone. If the behavior gets worse, contact a vet but it more than likely was just a warning to let it be for the moment.
