Thanks for the horse humor, Yagr. Recently, I saw a picture online of a black horse jumping up. His mane was braided, and the braids had flown up in the air as he jumped.
Sorry I cannot post a picture. As far as I know, it is not possible to do so on a cell phone.

My first horse would actually do this. After dumping me on the ground she'd look at me as if to say "What are you doing down there?"

I have not ridden in a while due to finances. But, I often think of how it feels to sit in the saddle.....to have my feet in the stirrups...,.and feeling the horse respond when I cue him. Sigh. Soon I hope.

My horse did that too, then he would give me a wet kiss.

this was my foal Izzy just around 4 months old......Even though I know they use this for their sense of smell, It always makes me think she's laughing at me......LOL, she's now....17.3 hands high....my gentle giant.....but soo adorable as a foal......& oh yes, in my college equestrian class I had a horse I was riding through me over his ears when I tapped him on the rear with my crop for fussing around in our group class (just as our instructor had told me to do). Laying on the ground looking up at not just the nose, but the smiling face....it was hard to stop laughing after I finally caught my breath after the fall.

Eskie, my TB mare Gracie once flipped me over her head. I landed on my feet, facing the same direction we'd been traveling and still holding the reins. I felt like a gymnast and thought I should take a bow!

As unlikely as this is, I would feel badly if you lived close and I did not offer - and so, if you are in or around Eastern Washington, PM me and I will have a horse waiting for you to ride when you get here.
