I have a cat. I love this cat. She is a flame point rag doll.

She loves her food, and even though she is six years old, she still loves her toys! She goes face down into her toys--it is so cute. She demands to be brushed every morning, and she prefers to drink straight from the faucet.

Her name is Metallicat, and she never stops begging for attention. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I don't own any pets myself but my parents do and I consider them my pets in my own way since I was around when they were kittens. I see them every month or two now.

Oscar is hyperactive and is a sucker for attention. He also likes getting his water from taps like the OP. He loves nothing more than to give me a good lick (wash). He can be a nuisance at times though. No food is safe from him.

Charlie is much more laid back and sleeps a lot but likes attention at times too. I'm the only one in the family that he will sit on my lap so that's something. I think it goes back to when he was a kitten and used to sit on my lap under the dinner table.

Evy is my fur baby and she is turning 4 January 1st (the day she was adopted). She follows commands very well like a dog, very affectionate and close to me, and follows me around everywhere. She was my Christmas present and I love her very, very much!

My mom has a black cat named Salem and we are caring for my brother's nine year old mixed blonde lab Max while he is out in the military. And I have three bettas named Fire, Tommy Lee, and Razzle.

My guy is a big blue baby. He's around 11-12 yrs old and loves to play. He's spoiled getting 1/3 of a can of wet food in the am and again in the pm, he has dry food anytime he wants it. He's a 4 on the floor kind of guy who doesn't like jumping much but does love to suddenly run into another room very fast for no reason. He does love laps tho and will patently sit at your feet making big eyes till you say, ok come up.

I adopted my cat 2 years ago not long after my dog died.

He is such a loving cat and often rubs himself on me and is always purring. My cat was in a shelter for 2 years and was found in a ditch with his mum and siblings, all of his siblings and mum were all adopted out so he was left on his own. One of the best decisions that I ever made was adopting him but I do still miss my dog a lot.

He was very scared when I first got him but now he thinks that he rules the house lol.

Last week, I adopted a little, black shihpoo (part shih tzu, part poodle) that is about 8 years old and partially blind. She is a total love. She is mellow, housebroken (on pads), friendly, cuddly, and smart. We are just getting to know each other, so I don't have much to report yet, but I'll keep you all posted on our journey together.

So far, I totally adore her.

My oldest dog, now mine inherited from my folks, is a rescue, 6 y.o., a Blackmouth Cur and actually only ever bonded with me even when they were around. She is afraid of her own shadow, people and strange objects, but outdoors and with other dogs, she is a completely different dog, confident and an amazing hunter. She is the sweetest thing though once you get to know her and rather once she gets to know you. She also likes to sun bathe, that's where you can find her most often, on the chaise in the porch.

The next oldest is 5 y.o., a rescue too, also inherited, an Australian Shepherd/ Labrador retriever mix. This lovely girl is the most social dog I have seen, has never met a stranger, not afraid of anything, and full of gusto. The aussie in her herds the kids when they come to visit, which they enjoy thinking she is playing tag.

The third is the youngest, 3 years old, mine, a rescue from the streets found covered in ticks & 30 lbs under weight at 9 mos old, a viszla mix. It took some time to gain her trust and we have an trusting relationship now. Despite the rescue organization saying she was good with kids and other animals, this was far from true, quite the opposite in fact, very aggressive. As some have read already, I have had issues integrating the three of them together. We are working on it though. She is sweet with me and adults, and very playful at times with the others. Strange animals and territorial is when the aggression comes out. We're getting there though to rehab for the aggression and though I have her trust, I am working on earning her respect so she will listen no matter what.

I only have one fish tank now, downsizing, and trying to work with goldfish now instead of breeding bettas. Only two goldfish: a ryukin, and shubunkin. Both are trained to do tricks.

That's my brood.

I have a kitty named Macy, and she is honestly the sweetest baby ever. She is so human-like! Her personality is very lovely, but there is so much sass behind those adorable green eyes. I love her with all my heart and I believe she is one of the greatest blessings in my life.

I have 2 cats 1 dog 2 kids and 1 husband

Both my cats are boys and are orange. Sunny is 15-16 years old and has dementia. He starts meowing at about 1 am and a lot of times he doesn't know who we are. We are trying him on some meds but sadly they are not working. McGee is around 2 years old and is a pistol. He loves to play and he loves his treats (so does sunny) he can turn the knobs on the door opening the closed door and he loves to suck on your shirt and cuddle. Both cats are rescue cats and in fact McGee was a feral cat that was sick and only weighing 8 ounces when we got him.

Sammy our dog is an English bull dog and will be turning 10 years old in January. She loves to eat tomatoes. In fact she will pick them off the tomatoe plant herself. She also loves the water.

Unfortunately our fur babies are better trained then the kids plus they don't ask to use the car nor do they go over our data on our cell phone plan.

I have Kiki the turtle. She's master of begging, I must not see her eating, as she would beg for more food.

She used to follow me around, but as older she gets, she becomes lazy. Instead of chasing me, now she would look at me, begging for me to get her.

Hm, I saw I already posted about my fur angels.

I will talk about Max because I need something to do. He loves people. When we were evacuating we dropped him off in a kennel. We would check in on him via phone and the staff absolutely loved him. They told us he didn't care for the other dogs but would follow the people around wherever they go. He loves people and loves getting attention, pets, and treats from people. He was picked up and we went to my grandparents house at a 100% safe location. He was scared of course and my grandparents told us he started crying when we left to do errands. He's really calming down but my grandparents told us he'd cry when we left to do errands. My brother is sending him a smelly workout shirt so he can have a familiar smell.

Fluffy is the 140 pound black lab/Great Dane who I am consistently being accused of doting on. My husband bought him for me six years ago when I got out of prison. Earlier this year I took in another small dog, a shitsu named Emma. Both of my dogs have never looked at me with pity in their eyes or disgust or judgment. They greet me with love and excitement and for someone who had absolutely zero self esteem it’s a huge deal.

I have two dogs and two horses. I’m really leaning towards getting a cat (live rural- I have mice!! Eek!!)

I have always befriended animals ever since I was a little girl. The feeling of their unconditional love was something I never experienced with humans.

My husband bought me my fur baby “Fluffy” who is a very nonfluffy black lab/Great Dane mix.

I took in Emma at the beginning of the year from a coworker who didn’t want her. She’s a Shi Tsu and super small, like she might have been the runt. I look at her and can’t fathom how anyone couldn’t like her. She’s my little smuggler.

Guess it’s obvious my love for animals, huh?! Sorry.

We have 3 Beagles left. One 14 1/2, one 12 or 13, really don`t know, he was one of our rescues and the baby just turned 4. We had 5 until a few months ago. Two of the other rescues passed 3 weeks to the day of each other. The house just seems so quiet now. We have been thinking about getting a younger rescue, so the 4 year old has a dog closer to his age, that would want to play and run with him.

I have two little old lady cats. They're both (essentially) rescues. Smudge is a long haired gray kitty who is very smart, sometimes crabby and sassy, but essentially sweet. She's 13. La De Da is a fat tortie who is afraid of everything. No kidding, I used a nail clipper the other day and it scared her. She's 9.

I love them.

I have two cats. Greyson is 4 and Missy(Mischief) is 1. Not sure how to post their picture. If I was a cat I would want me as a master. I think my cats are lucky because I lavish my attention on them. They are safe and always want pets and lovings. People on the other hand.......well let’s just say my cats are easy to love.
