I posted that Krissy (one of the cats) was sick. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge last evening. As much as it hurts, this might be for the best. He had a tough life. He was a feral rescue. I brought him home to foster because the woman I knew who was "fostering" him was not taking care of medical problems he had. Ended up keeping him. I suspect he might have been the result of inbreeding. He never did have very good health.

RIP Krissy.

((((lizardlady))))).

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is always hard. Can you take some consolation that you gave him the best possible life while he was alive, and now he is no longer suffering.

Be gentle with yourself.

I am so sorry for your loss. I agree with splitimage that you did an amazing job giving Krissy a loving and caring home. Losing a pet is so devastating. I hope that you will be able to remember wonderful times the two of you spent together. Take care of yourself.

You and Krissy are in my thoughts and prayers.
Thanks for this!

Liz how my heart hurts for you and your other fur babies. I am sure they are missing krissy. You are such a wonderful mom to all of them. Krissy was lucky to have you.

I got a sympathy card from the vet's office this week. I think it's nice that they send one. Everyone in the office adds a short note. The vet's note was especially sweet. She talked about the rough start Krissy had to life, but how my love made the rest of his life better.

So sorry for your loss.

My cat was also living wild for some years, and had quite a few issues.

Krissy was very lucky to have found you, and I'm sure he knew that
Thanks for this!
