I know my state is (in)famous for wild news stories. Sadly this one is not of the wild and wacky type. It's about outright abuse. Last week law enforcement put out a request for information related to
Possible trigger:
Thanks to some citizens who identified the abuser they were charged today.

My suggestion for a fit punishment is to subject the person responsible to the same treatment they gave the pupper.

Sick. Some people are too horrible for us to even comprehend.

Cruel. Such people should lose their freedom.

Kill it. And we don't mean the dog.

Dogs deserve love, so do cats.

Anyone who can hurt an animal (intentionally I mean, not like I've done accidentally, like when I accidentally let the back door swing to and it tapped Tigger on the ribs once cause I hadn't seen she had come up behind me and was wanting to join her meowmy outside, the wind caught the door when I let go and it swung and tapped her, she spent the rest of the day reminding me of the tappy hurties in order to get extra loves and fusses) deliberate is what I mean with this: they should have the same thing done to them, see how they like it

I agree Willow. Abusers should have done to them what they did to the animal.

Just saw this post....animal abuse has always been an issue with me from the time I was a kid. Have fought for & cared for quite a few including 3 stallions while our county DA was prosecuting the abuser.

Sadly Ky has horrible laws to fight animal abuse & it usually ends up being up a "give up the animals & you won't serve a few days in jail". If you don't have strong laws they can use for prosecution you have nothing firm to base stopping abuse on. This is one topic I have a passion for fighting against people who do this. In college I had a guy twice my size threaten to beat me up because I stood up to him for beating his dog in the college parking lot (long story) but he stopped & didn't touch me. I reported him to the humane society also.
