Hope your kitties do okay.

5th November is Guy Fawlkes (spelling) Night, but my neighbours further down the road are setting off fireworks early

Trick or treaters also seriously scare Willow, she never copes with them either

She doesn't like children anyways, when any are walking past the house she will pin her ears back and rush at the gate to swipe under it at any kids who she thinks are too close to the gate (yes I have seen her do it more than once)

She's a scaredy petal when she thinks there's a dangers

How about keeping Willow in the house on Halloween to keep her away from the gremlins?
Thanks for this!

We had a wedding celebration at the wedding venue a few farms away. I was doing dishes & all of a sudden I heard what sounded like rifle target practice. Cote (puppy) had never experienced sound like that & was not totally shook up but you could see his concern with the noise. I went out on the front porch & saw some beautiful fireworks that stopped as soon as my across the road neighbor who manages the venue jumped in his truck & raced up there (fireworks are against the contract as we have a race horse farm next to that). I went back inside & sat on the floor. My 31+ lb puppy decided being a lap dog for mom to calm him down was PERFECT. He calmed down quickly & was right back getting into puppy trouble. None of my other fur babies even cared about the noise....but it is definitely annoying even to me

Tigger was reacting as well, i suspect shes losing hearing, she couldnt seem to hear the whistle of them coming down and would jump and get scared when the boom went off, when she used to hear the whistle the booms didnt scare her, she learned to expect them

Willow, however, hates everything even the lights from them, she gets so scared and anxious
