it's getting well over the line.

eating everything i see, not because i need or want it, it's a natural reaction that i have to eat it or i feel guilty about not doing it

what suggestions do you guys have so i can control my emotional eating?

it really is getting beyond a joke.

Hi , this is one of my struggles also and something I'm trying to work on. One suggestion is checking out the thread geez has on workbooks and joining in on reading through this one which deals with emotional eating. Might help both of us

I binge eat too (sometimes). I would start by seeing a nutritionist and doing some research about food on your own. Learn and realize that most of the food we eat in America is not very healthy. Focus on eating as much of an all natural diet as you can. Limit any and all processed foods, even bread. Lover yourself, and eat to fuel your body and yourself. Realize that eating is to fuel your body, not to satisfy unwanted emotions. Finally, get rid of all bad food in your house and only buy healthy food. It might help to have someone help you along the way from binge eating. Learn to deal with the emotions that lead you to eat, and embrace them. Be honest with yourself and get help when you need it. Hope this helps.
