Hi all, just thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself. Support forums and support in person (through OA) has been helpful for me in the past, so I thought I'd give this forum a shot.

I have other psychiatric issues that are not related to binge eating; some would consider them more serious, but I feel that it is the eating disorders that really rule my life. Atm that would be binge eating, but in the past it has been anorexia, and I'm sure many of you can relate to this obsessive relationship with food that plagues us on both ends of the spectrum.

I chose my user name based on something my BF said to me today... he talked about having a disability as "playing on hard mode" (for those of you who play video games as much as I do, you know that some video games offer several modes: easy, normal, hard, and sometimes insanity mode. My issues make me feel like I'm playing life in insanity mode.

Anyway, I hope to get to know everyone along the way. Thanks for listening to my story (or a part of it anyway).
