Today, I totally pigged out on dairy and donuts, which my body cannot tolerate very well, and now I am sick and want to throw up. Why do I think doing that is going to make me feel better?!?!?!?!?

Well, I guess while you were doing it, it felt good--and you ignored what you knew would likely occur later, perhaps hoping somehow it wouldn't happen after all!

I so understand what you are saying. I cannot answer the question you ask. BUT do you have pepto bismo? It is good for acid.
one product I would never be without is alkaline drops. I buy mine from Holographic Health, the company of a man who is respected re the whole ph thing. He has written books about it. Dr Theadore Baroody. The product is called Alka-Trace. I put the drops in all water/liquids I drink. It helps to alkalize the body. For me it is not a cure. But I would never ever be without it. It does make a big difference. I also buy herbs from an herb store that I use to help heal the lining of my stomach. That helps a lot with the acid. The tea is meadowsweet, wood betony and chammomile. In that order. The recipe is not equal amounts. I brew the tea and drink it. I make 3 days worth. I would never use it instead of the Alka-trace, which is irreplaceable for me. Last edited by sunsetsunrise; Apr 17, 2013 at 04:46 PM. |

Acid reflux sucks; I feel your pain (no pun intended).
