I'm coming off a two year depression and psychosis. Over the last few years, I have gained fifty pounds. I need to get it off. I am seeing a doc and getting liquid diet supplements. I am supposed to drink 5 a day plus 64 oz of water plus cook one meal a day in the evening.
I'm eating all kinds of other stuff. Last weigh in I had gained four pounds. (I weigh in once a month.)
I just have no control. I cannot take diet meds as I am on so many psych drugs. I also hate to exercise. I just expect exercise to help me maintain(not lose) weight. This whole mess is in the way of my recovery. I feel much better mentally but just fat.
Any ideas? I feel desperate.

well I am on Topamax for my bipolar...it is an antiseizure like the lamictal. it is a weight loss drug. I lost thirty pounds I credit to it....ive lost sixty all togethe4r but I credit that more to changing my diet since I have been on it.
