My other half is still in hospital, has been since boxing day; he's better than he was talking about life and the future They transferred him to a facility closer to our home, unfortunately it 2hrs from all my support friends and family. But I love him and he needs my support so i've packed up and driven home alone to an empty house to a town where i know nobody. It's better for him, he's in a much better place with staff that care rather that take pleasure in causing more problems. But i'm finding it hard being in the house alone especially as tomorrow is new years eve. I love him so much but i worry my future is going to be very lonely.

It must be very hard on both of you right now but I am glad that he is receiving the help he needs.

Try to take care of yourself as well. It is fantastic that you are wanting to support him but please make sure you take some time for you as well.

Happy new year I hope this year brings good things for you and your partner.
Thanks for this!
