Burnout...dying flame

i am not sure i am experiencing burn out but i am tired all the time. i keep thinking something is wrong with me but no one is really listening to me i do not think. i do in fact need a break from the 24/7 care of my Mother. i am having such a hard time getting someone in that will do her medications too. i do not want to go to T or to clay class, or make anything, or play games on-line. All i want to do is sleep.
Get help. Yes i know this, but my Mother will not share her financial information with the city run agency for the aging, and i do not have enough to pay for the care myself.
Okay...
Got to go to bed now...Early doctor's visit at 8 AM.
Will work on finding a way to pay for the care myself...maybe try selling some of my art as a beginning.

I hear you! but I am new and my posts don't come thru yet. I so relate. Been there - done that, with ex who had a stroke & became abusive - 8 yrs until I could get away. Ended up in hosp. As long as I was there & there was $$ no help would be provided. I send you lots of hugs and recognition of the situation you have found yourself in.

My Mom is next. I am glad to have had this experience. I will do things MUCH differently - once I take on responsibility..She will get no further help

Wow... where are you from? If you're in socal literally tell me. Yeah I hear you I'm helping out my girlfriends grandma this way too... I felt that emotional pressure crushing me and peeling every slice of morale away.
