I am 17 years old and I have been dating a guy for a year and a half. We've been through alot together but the hardest thing is dealing with his Bipolar Disorder. He went through a traumatic event when he was 13 and he was in a mental hospital for hallucinations and Bipolar Disorder. I feel like sometimes he will be really un caring and mean to me and others, he will love me till the end of time. Its kind of difficult to deal with and I was wondering is any of you go through something similar.

I love him more than anything and would never ever give up on him but sometimes it can be really hard.

Hello! Yes, being in a relationship with someone with bipolar can be very hard. There are some books about the subject. I can't think of titles right now, though, alas.

Regardless of his diagnosis, please don't put up with his being mean to you. He might get irritable sometimes, though.
