I need some advice and I am not sure where to post this.
I have ADHD and my partner has BPD, those are our main diagnoses.
It seems at times that neither one of us can handle the other, and that we don't understand one another's condition despite trying our best.
I feel burdened by her at times and I am sure I drive her up the walls as well.
What should I do in this situation?

Oil, sounds like you are in a difficult spot. Have you considered counseling to gain insight on each others points of views? Or maybe a book on co dependency?

I have actually looked into codependency literature and I have an appointment soon. I plan to ask a professional opinion on the matter. I was just wondering if anyone on the forums had encountered a similar problem and how they sought to resolve it.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
