Hello,
I am not the official caretaker of my brother. He is 23 , schizoaffective, and stays at somewhere like a halfway home. He is free to come and go but has an apartment there, and they provide him with dinners. He has been missing since last Sunday. About a month ago he ran away with his SI money but called the whole time. This time he hasn't contacted anyone we mutually know. His caregivers sent out a police report. I don't know what to do. I have two uncles who are informed but are tired of dealing with his erratic behaviour. |

So sorry to hear this. I hope he is found safe. I think I would call the police myself and let them know you are concerned also. Have you checked other halfway houses, shelters, etc...? I don't know but I will send good vibes your way and keep you in my prayers. Let us know if you hear anything, ok?

Does he have a cell phone?
Have you looked in the place he went before?

His phone is turned off. I can try the police myself and let them know I'm concerned as well, but I don't live in the area. Last time left his place, he was traveling all over, LA to San Francisco.

If he turns his cell phone back on the police can ping the cell towers to determine where he is/has been.

Thanks. I've never been through this before. The police dispatchers were very nice, which surprised me.

There is apps available to track his phone. I don't believe anything sinister would have happend. He will show up
