My father is fairly normal , but he gets nervous easily and fast but that can be usual with some people , the problem is , sometimes I hear him swearing and cursing someone perhaps an imaginary person , but he does this when he's alone not with a family member , and when he senses that someone is coming he often sneezes and go back to his sanity , I just want to know what's wrong with him , he's in his 60s and he smokes A LOT .

Well it could be that he's 60. He also may be lonely, or even just talking to himself. I wouldn't worry though.

From just that little bit of information, I don't think there's anything terribly wrong. Is this new behavior? He's too old to suddenly have schizophrenia or bipolar.
He just sounds like an anxious guy. Maybe when he's cursing to himself he's just stressed about something. Talking to oneself isn't indicative of a disorder. I talk to myself every day. I always have. If someone caught me doing it, I'm sure I'd sneeze or do something else to pretend I wasn't just talking to myself! The excessive smoking is also indicative of stress. Try to keep his environment as smooth-sailing as you can. At least, don't be a source of stress yourself. |

He is probably engaging in impromptu skit. Most people do this alone. If it were several people you know you would have to check yourself in to a hospital.
He is only a little bashful about it. |
