I just wanted to make a quick post to those of you who struggle with a family member who has mental illness, and say thank you. I have BPD, and now maintained a stable, healthy, and fulfilling relationship with my parents and sisters for well over a year now, and it only gets better over time. This would never have happened if they hadn't stuck by me through all the segueing, and hard times.

so i thought even though i'm not a family member, i thought this post would be appropriate because A) i know sometimes we don't say thank you enough and B) for those who are still struggling, it does get better! me and my family are proof! I love my parents dearly and we have a very good understanding of each other now!
Thanks for this!

I agree, our supportive family members and friends needs to be thanked. I don't know what I would have done had it not been for caring support givers. Thanks to all to support us through our dark times.
