Geez, I didn't think I had narcisstic tendencies... Usually, I'm self-deprecating, not self-aggrandizing. And what is up w/the 'Histrionic' crap? I also think it's odd that the 'Antisocial' category & the 'Narcisstic' categories share many traits.

But, I also didn't know I was schizophrenic... So not only do I try to build castles in the sky, I live in them, too.

Schizoid actually ISN'T schizophrenic. I learned about it today in abnormal psychology. It can lead to schizophrenia due to isolation - but that's only if you really make yourself a hermit, which leaves you in danger of losing touch with reality. The true schizoid pd is a solitary person and mostly doesn't mind being alone. Sometimes they get lonely, which prompts them to seek help. A very numb person.
Are you confused on what histrionic is? It's attention-seeking, fyi if you don't know.

Do you all agree with the results of your test?

I have a problem with black/white questions. How to answer such???

Well, that's me then. Comfortably numb, comfortable alone & numb.

Oh, no, I understood - and that's what I don't understand. It's probably because I answered the one question about "Do you sometimes dress provocatively to get attention?" Well, yes, sometimes when I or me & my husband go out, I want people to look at my cleavage. But that's only every once in a great while, maybe once or twice a year. I spend 90% of my time in a polyester penguin suit avoiding eye contact from tourists & trying to avoid my coworkers. The less people seek me out, the happier I am.

I agree with my results, I already have bpd but I'm still trying to accept the narcissistic pd too.

These results actually shocked me. I do feel paranoia alot -- but I've been that way for YEARS. I am avoidant, but never thought I was narcissistic. Interesting...

This test is crap. Sorry. I think that some of the answers people get here are coincidence if they coincide with their DX's or what they think they have, but other than that, the questions are bad, the answers are worse, and overall they probably make people feel like garbage.

I hope no one is taking these tests seriously.

ETA: An example...notice how almost everyone has a score of 'Very High' under Borderline?

However, it states right at the top of the quiz: "It is not meant to be used as a diagnostic tool, but rather as a tool to give you insight into a potential disorder that may be having a negative impact on your life."

Basically, I think of it more as comfirming the need to seek help. Whether that be contacting a professional for the first time OR discussing the results with your current professionals.

Most online tests aren't all that reliable. That being said, here are my results.

Paranoid: Low
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: Low
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Low
Histrionic: Low
Narcissistic: Low
Avoidant: Low
Dependent: Low
Obsessive-Compulsive: Low

That quiz is neither valid nor reliable, and certainly doesn't match up to APA standards for psychological testing. Please don't put too much weight into it.

Hi there!

Ive just taken this online test that is based on sound scientific reasoning. Ive also come out very high on all those areas that were brought to my attention by the test posted earlier, including BPD. It is pretty crude but its not all GARBAGE that it spews out. Please discuss these results with your therapist tho.

Overall, although I don't have any PDs, I'd say that this is pretty accurate about me. Some of the questions are so vague that my answers don't mean what the site might think they'd mean -- if that makes sense -- but I do have a lot of OCPD traits, and some DPD traits. The NPD is skewed, because I do think well of myself, although not in a narcissistic way; and the Schizotypal was skewed because I do have thought patterns that are considered odd by many people, but are consistent with my upbringing. {shrug} Interesting, though...
