Hello I am new and I need an answer. I am an 18 yr old female from Iowa. Here is my problem:
I don't know if this is part of my borderline personality or what but somedays I feel on top of the world and others I end up cutting myself. I mean somedays like today I am so self confident and arrogant, self centered and egotistial that my bf doesn't wanna be around me. My therapist said I was a closet narcissist what ever that means. Anyway other days I feel so alone, empty and disgusted. Is this a normal BPD trait- feeling like you're two faced? I am so confused.

I posted this in general also. But thought I'd get more responses here.

i dont know much about bpd but the little parts that I know of that sounds common. Are you in therapy? Maybe you can talk with your Therapist about your feelings. Getting validation feels great.
