i am bpd and sometimes will go to any lengths to manipulate people if i perceive (right or wrong) that they have mistreated or are ignoring me. i act like a spoiled brat.

i hate this behavior in myself, and it has caused me to lose many friends. someone told me about a therapy called dbt. has anyone tried it and has it worked for u?

i am desperately alone and need some way to break out of this pattern.

I have observed this behaviour in some people, it's not pretty losing friends I commend you for acknowledging this behaviour in yourself, and for wanting to change. I do believe that a lot of research points to DBT being one of the best ways to help/heal BPD.

Good luck!!!

Take care,
Fuzzy
