I know no one here are doctors or counselors (from what I know) but I am questioning myself as to my personality. Forgive me if I understand myself wrong but maybe a year ago or two I began to get anxious about leaving my house, and even going to public schooling a bit into my sophomore year. Talking with a therapist did not help at all and I just wonder if I have some sort of disorder or illness? I know people do get nervous out of a normal reaction to things but it seems serious to me.

Sorry if this was confusing..

Sorry yr struggling with some issues...unfortunately we aren't able to tell you what you might have. I would encourage you to go back to therapy and get a referral to a psychiatrist. If you didn't get much out of therapy maybe it wasn't a good fit for you. You can always try and see another one. That's where I would start. Good luck

I'm sorry you're struggling. I would definitely advise you to try another therapist. Try one who specializes in anxiety disorders. I would suggest asking them about agoraphobia and social anxiety. I'm not a psychologist, by any means, but I think those two would at least be beneficial to explore.

Sometimes we don't click with a particular therapist, that doesn't mean therapy has failed us. It's like buying a house or dating. You're not gonna like them all. Keep trying if this is something that is bothering you. <3

@Littlemiss44 - That's okay I understand. And hopefully soon I'll be able to try another one if I ever have the confidence to speak to my mom about my issues. On another note though we do not have a consistent method of transportation [if you don't count taxis]

@Aanga - Thanks for your condolences first of all. Like I said above I would, but it's hard to get around to places considering my family doens't have a car and my dad is sick himself with a breathing problem so it's hard to leave him alone. But I'll eventually try to get to one.
