I have APD since 5 years ago.Know i'm at high school with a mind that is slowing me down all the time. When i was at a state school, the other kids bullied me but i didn't have the courage to face them.I was trully afraid.I got through those years with a psychologic scar. Now,i am still afraid of all the things that i was afraid at that time and i dont know what to do.It's like all reality is against me.What should i do???

PS:Go against the people that want to make your life a living hell.Play their game and beat them in it.Make thir life a misery.

Thank you for reading this. Please, someone post a reply,i'm in a dead end.

I was a victim of bullying too, and sometimes as an adult I wish that I could meet those bullies again and make them sit down and listen to how what they did has interrupted and messed up my life. I don't remember their names, but I hope that they grew up and learned better ways.

Being a bigger bully isn't the answer. Most bullies have been victimized by someone, and you don't want to be one of them, do you? Don't let them push you into becoming something that you hate.

Here are some articles that might give you some other ideas what to do:

And please talk to a counselor or other adult about how you are feeling. You have a lot of anger, and it is understandable that you feel angry about having been hurt. There are ways to channel your anger in ways that will help you and help others who deserve to be helped, and won't ruin your life. There is still time. Please find someone IRL who you can talk to and who can help you. Ok?

First I'd like to ask which you are referring to the APD-- antisocial personality disorder(which is akin to sociopathic behavior) or do you mean AvPD-- avoidant personality disorder. Sometimes the abbreviations are used both as APD, which can be confusing since the two struggles are VERY different.

And secondly-- I've read that most docs don't like to label people before they reach their late teens --- as behaviors/outlooks can change as one matures. If you were labeled at say 11 or 12-- that very label can cause you to believe that's who you are and how you should act-- I'm sorry you were put in such a place at such a young age. What should i do???

That is so so wrong that anyone bullies and I'm sorry you went through that. What should i do??? You know, this is just my idea-- I'm not an expert-- but the "scar" you speak of could be PTSD and there is help for that. Being afraid of things that happened in the past that aren't happening now-- but yet one feels they might so they are held back in life-- that is what PTSD has done to me-- maybe, just maybe that's what is going on with you?

I hope you can seek help again-- but this time-- with someone that is not so set on labeling but more into HELPING. There are good therapists out there and perhaps in the meantime you could look up PTSD and see if you relate to any of it.......

I wish you the very best, and am here to help in any way I can.
