I wasn't surewhere to put this bt for the last couple of days i hae been hearing muffled voices. I can't make out what they r saying, but it's getting really annoying! I can't get them to stop even when i play music.

This sounds kind of serious to me, but it's not something that I have experienced with my personality disorder issues. I've felt like I am different people sometimes. That's my dissociation stuff. Maybe hearing voices could be related to that? Sorry I can't be more helpful, I just wanted to reply with something.

I think it's more serious if they're outside your head, but if you know they're inside your head it's not as bad... That's what my doctor said, because the voices I hear are inside my head, but I don't really know.

Mine are more externally. Like they sound as if they are across the room or in our bathroom or even on the other side of the wall! Guess it's time I tell my P-Doc! Oh gosh I am scared to tell him!

That kind of sucks. I've definitely had that like when there's some kind of white noise around, where you start hearing what sounds like voices but don't know what their saying. As long as it isn't terribly distressing to you, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If your not worried about it/thinking about it, you probably either won't hear it or it won't annoy you. As long as they don't start telling you weird, messed up stuff that you feel compelled to act on, I wouldn't worry about it too much honestly

Hey there, I've had that happen off and on since I was in my late teens, always when I'm depressed and feeling lots of anxiety. It's confusing and annoying and can even be scary, for sure. I'd definitely let your doctor know. I don't think there's anything to be scared about as far as telling him goes. I've told my psychiatrist and therapist both, and they agree that as long as it doesn't cause me too much distress or the voices are not telling me to do bad things, they aren't going to pressure me about taking any antipsychotics(I've stated to them flat out that I don't want to take those.)
