I am scared of/deeply object to judgement too.

But if someone judges me, I look closely at myself and try to think if there is any truth in their judgement, or if they are projecting their own stuff onto me. Some people will ALWAYS find something to criticise... and that's about THEM, not us ..... Avoident Personality Disorder.

Sometimes it takes a while after the intial pain of being judged to look accurately at oneself to see if there is any truth in the other person's unkindness... Avoident Personality Disorder. Avoident Personality Disorder. If there is, then work on changing, and if not......... Avoident Personality Disorder. Avoident Personality Disorder. Avoident Personality Disorder. Also look closely at the person who is judging, people usually dislike the most traits that they themselves possess....."consider the source"............. Avoident Personality Disorder.

I agree with Rap, look for a counsellor or therapist, doctors are generally pretty useless in helping with Avoidant PD....
