My main diagnosis is BPD. Add a little histrionic narcissism (or self-centered dramatics) and that's it. But it is all BPD.

Should I stay here rather than run around to all the different sites, like depression, when I am feeling depressed, or the SI forum, when I feel like harming myself?

Maybe I am just too all over the place, here. Maybe I should just stick to the one place that covers it all - HERE.

What do you all do as your mood changes?

I think you should post where you are comfortable. If you are most comfortable in this forum, you are welcome to stay here, but don't be afraid to venture out if you want to also.

I used to post almost exclusively in the self-injury forum. It was where I felt secure and understood. It was where my friends were. I still feel like that is my home, and I have read every post ever posted in that forum. But we have a much larger community here than just one forum, and you may find that you want to post about a topic that fits better in some other forum, or you may answer someone in another forum and get involved in conversations. That is fine too. Do what feels right. Should I just stay here?

I like this forum too, because it is a good fit for me, and also because it is a smaller, less-frequented forum, and it feels cosy and comfortable. It's not overwhelming. Posts don't get lost and disappear here so fast because there aren't so many posts. That can be nice. Of course there is the flipside too. You might wait longer for replies because not so many people are reading this forum. What is most important to you?

Rap (who reserves the option to move posts to another forum if they really do fit there better, but I'll leave a pointer if I do, and it's nothing personal Should I just stay here? )

Moods change for everybody, it's not just a BPD thing. I wander around depending on what I want to talk about and where I want to "put it," :-) not necessarily my mood. You are the center of your own universe, everything should revolve around you in your world! That's some of the problem, not knowing where one's "center" is and staying centered.

My philosophy has been to post in the forum related to my subject. So if I'm depressed - I would post in depression. If my moods are swinging, I've posted in bi-polar. Then I love hanging out in Creative Corner for fun or Social once and a while. I like this forum too. Should I just stay here? I think my favorite is Psychotherapy because I'm interested in the process and sometimes need to talk about what is going on in my therapy.

Why, thank you WinterRose! I feel better about dizzying myself by being all over the place (which, I pretty much am, IRL)

Yeah - I am pretty much all over the place - but it's more exciting that way, isn't it ... Should I just stay here?

So true, for there is rarely a dull moment, even when one is alone!
