I don't fit anywhere? Why would they even have this as a dx? How do I approach my T logically about this? It showed up on my paperwork. I don't know how to even approach it. I feel so ****** and feel like my whole mental health future is tainted.

It's a really broad term.

Would you rather they narrowed it down to BPD?

True. If this were my situation I would just ask my therapist if she could explain what that means for me.

Anything, something if it's a PD then what a4e my symptoms that isn't part of bp? And how do i fix it? I like my personally my personality! I wasn't abused, don't have abandonment issues. I do think about SH, have other issues but it went from scizoaffective to pd nos and bp.

Can you ask your T to describe how you fit this diagnosis?

He said it was a pre dx and he can only void it. I don't know whether to believe him.

Trust me, "fitting" neatly into a personality disorder DX is overrated. I've had a very hard time getting help because Borderline PD has been on my records since I was 18. I know it's frustrating as hell to not have a concrete diagnosis though, I feel that way about other diagnoses... It always changes from schizophrenia to schizoaffective to bipolar I with psychotic features to mood disorder NOS to depression with psychotic features round and round the doctors go with me. It's so frustrating and just ugh. So I do get it on some level.
