Sometimes I manically shop, buying impulsively, when it seems like an irresistible deal I can't pass up. I go manic. I pounce on the opportunity because I am afraid I'll lose my chance if I don't act right away, which is sometimes true.
The thing is, these deals are too good to pass up. But I have to check myself to make sure, that I am seeing it accurately and am not just manic. There have been times where I act too impulsively and do really stupid things because I'm just not thinking clearly, or I'm not that smart.
