How often are NPDs or ASPDs attracted to a person who is a "challenge?"

I just mean personality wise. Some people have timid personalities, others have more assertive personalities.

Loose boundaries versus strong boundaries.

Hmm...that's a great question. I believe altogether I tend to be more attracted to those that are more challenging.

And I have a lot of friends with PDs. I have bipolar. So I think "normal" people may be a bore to me. LOL

I do prefer the "challenging" types. I think it's because I crave the intensity. I find most people boring.

I wish I could have run into y'all during my twenties; we would have had a blast and probably made a real mess of things.

Might be too much fighting. lol

I am very stubborn and firm to my FOO. I try to set strong boundaries. I come from a family of strong personalities. So I am attracted and repelled at the same time.

This might be common with NPD parents.
Thanks for this!

That's an interesting contrast you have there.
