Here were the results of my test:
Extraversion 40 What is confusing to me is why are the 4 traits that were identified something I'd need help with other than the neuroticism, which I'm already getting help with. I've also been working on the one thing I was worried about--which is the Concientiousness!--and that was considered average or as it presents here acceptable. Why is extraversion, agreeableness, and openness to experience traits I need help with? I'm sorry, but I really don't get it. Honest input would be helpful. Maybe my world view isn't complete enough to "get it" at this point in time without input from others. Thanks in advance to anyone who is kind enough to take the time to help me out here. |

I ask myself the same question. If you score very high or very low on some of them, I imagine there are both advantages and disadvantages it is worthwhile keeping in mind.
For example, we both score high on Agreeableness. One advantage could be potentially bonding well with other people. Disadvantages could include becoming too gullible or nonassertive. We have to learn how to leverage the advantages and avoid the pitfalls. What gets really interesting for me is when you combine the traits together. For example, average Conscientiousness plus high Openness to experience (raises hand!!) may explain why I always seem to have multiple projects in mind but sometimes have difficulty finishing things due to distraction or boredom. We both have high Agreeableness and high Neuroticism, which might get expressed as deep concern for the welfare of others, but also might be expressed as having difficulty dealing with conflicts, for example. |

I can't really speak to your issue, but I will say that I think online tests should be taken with a grain of salt. If the neuroticism is the only thing bugging you, then maybe it makes sense to just continue as you are.
