I was reading some information about schemas and I cried like a baby. I dont know how to talk about it. It is easier to talk about it in the past and down play it as a feeling.
After a bad day I felt it was the moment to read it. Defect and submition totally me. Unfortunatly. |

Since the schemas seemed to strike a chord with you, I wonder -- have you tried schema therapy? Is it available in your area? There is someone who posts sometimes in the Psychotherapy forum and they say it has been helpful to them.

I have attended three therapy sessions. Last one therapist presented me the concept of schema, I think her idea is to work in it. My homework was to read about it.
I am certainly interested in earing feedback, I am going to browse a little on therapy subforum. |

There's a lot in that forum about therapy, and/or therapists, gone wrong. And it did for me, too. But it looks to me like schema therapy could protect the client from a lot of that.
