Has anyone read "Get Me Out of Here" by Rachel Reiland?

I bought it today and it looks really good.

I am almost finished with it. I like it a lot because much of what she talks about feeling I certainly have.

Her sessions with Dr. Padgett on the other hand, do not resemble anything close to mine. I still enjoyed reading about hers and I kind of wish I could scream at my T once in awhile the way she did...

I'm right about there too... page 290. She's beginning her recovery and I'm not sure I'm ready to read about that yet. I'm just beginning mine... not sure.

I was devouring it up to this point. I guess I'm afraid it might affect my own therapy, idk.

i finshed that book. i actually cried at the end at her last session with dr padgett because i never want to say goodbye to my T. i don't understand how she recovered, though. it just seems as though one day she woke up and decided to "grow up". i dunno. also after reading this i started lashing out more at my T. if anyone has read my recent post in psychotherapy section you'd see the email i sent. it reminded me of something rachel would have done. overall though i'm glad i read it because i could def. relate
