Me too. Among other things. It's hard sometimes to differentiate AvPD from anxiety and depression and other stuff that often comes along with it. And it can also overlap with other personality disorders.

Dear Sarah,

I have listed, Avoidant Personality Disorder, in my profile, just below Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder. I consider it a personality propensity, on a continuum, rather than an objective personality defect. The concept, of personality propensities, makes for useful, somewhat quantitative introspection. Identification, of emotional propensities, allow us to take corrective measures, on a cognitive level, in order to improve the quality of our lives.

I wish you the best,

Larry

Although I don't have an official diagnosis since I'm just in the process of getting myself some professional help, I'm pretty sure that the diagnosis will be AvPD after reading the description of it here at psychcentral.

And just like you, I would like to get in touch with other AvPDians. So feel free to PM me.

http://www.mentalhealth.com/dis/p20-pe08.html - it's got a decent description of the disorder. I was thinking maybe I had AvPD, but after reading it I realized I'm just anti-social.
