In short: i was in a near-fatal car crash in October of last year.

Ever since the wreck, I've had very vivid dreams in which I've crashed a car in every single way possible.

Every time I pass my crash site, I get mental flashbacks of me spinning wildly and slamming into that guardrail.

Even blacking out, or thoughts of blacking out triggers a flashback, because of how I blacked out during the wreck.

I just want it to go away...

Are you working on this in therapy?

Not as much as we were. It was so far away, I feel like it shouldn't still be affecting me. Plus, with the amount of stuff we already have to talk about, it's hard to get around to that. An hour a week is not enough time to go through everything.

It's definitely worth talking about. Even though it was a year ago, you're showing classic PTSD symptoms that are interfering with your ability to enjoy life. It might be worth seeing specifically a trauma therapist, for a brief time, to help you work through the trauma.

Good luck.
