Hi Guy's new to the site. Wonder would anybody got any advice in that I am currently experiencing a resurgence of symptoms - funny enough I know where its coming from. Court case coming up - got medical reports and its so frustrating reading them and realizing these doc's dont understand what this is like.... you just lose hope and get so tired fighting this and fighting them! My prob is I am trying to pull myself together to reply to this report - have been avoiding it like the plaque over the last two weeks - hard to explain its still there in my mind I know it has to be done but get so tearful and distressed thinking about it - feel like I am going crazy per se. Anybody got good strategies for doing things that you dont want to do - especially legal!

Hi Yoggie. Welcome to PC and this board. You have asked a couple of questions, but I find it difficult to respond. I am not sure what kind of symptoms and for what exactly that you are asking about. They are apparently triggered by the court case. Normal strategy is to learn to face your fears and work through them, but this is not something that can be done in a brief period of time. Legal matters have to be dealt with in a timely fashion.

I do not know if I can help you at all, but we are here to help each other the best that we can. You can respond here or you can Private Message me if you wish. What ever makes you more comfortable. Take care.

My advice is take things slowly- give yourself a small, but reasonable list to tackle-

The more you don't want to do something the more overwhelming it can feel, so limit it.
Maybe to an hour a day, or half hour- so that you can give a consideration of time to it, and then back off- so it isn't hanging over your head.
Sometimes, if you 'schedule" something- like homework as a kid, or a chore- you do it, and move on- so it isn't just there...like staring at a huge pile of laundry, or a huge project for work all day.
Having some time to work on it, but having a limit can sometimes keep me more productive then trying to tackle it all at once.

just my personal opinion....hang in there..

Thanks so much. I managed to get that piece of work done last night eventually.
