I'm in one right now... power goes on and off... thunder rolls like being under a bowling alley lane.. large rain drops we had a 10 minute hail storm on Thursday and thunder that would not quit (was waiting for the tornado to wipe me and my dog out...as we hid in the closet.!) Each after noon... storms move through it happens in FL during the summer... it happens.... so does a lot of other stuff... happen....gggrrrrr

I sat "through" one under a shelter Saturday... a few other caring individuals around, but they didn't know my thoughts weren't on topic... the thunder rolled through the sky ... lightening flashed in the woods around... rain pelted on the tin roof.. hot air blew through the open way....
every once in a while a plane flew over... like never ending thunder... heart palpitations just typing this.

Shared the above with my T... he knows... says that the very reason I felt all that, and felt that way (as opposed to the way everyone else in the meeting took no notice) IS PTSD. That that IS ptsd... yeah. sigh.

No rain today at all... yet well it's just after 6 pm... sigh breathe. This stuff all turns up in my nightmares/terrors too... can't seem to get away from my brain! (((hugsback))))

Getting through any storm can be scary, and to have to get through them nearly every day with PTSD makes me wish you never had to experience them! I hope you and your dog keep safe and aren't hurt.
