Welcome Patricia72! I'm new to this forum as well, but like you, not to PTSD - 23years - but only 2 years to it's "name" and therapy. Funny how we think we can "handle it alone". Some people can - took me a new trauma to realize it wasn't going away by itself.

I have suffered multiple traumas as well.... for awhile I took the attitude that if I was strong enough to survive the first than I can survive anything... I am a survivor but I think the other events have made me that much worse most of the time... not really stronger. I have been very confused lately... thank you for your reply and I hope you the best.
