I'm new here.. So, hi everyone. This place has so much information.

I deal with PTSD. For me it seems to come and go, although I suppose it's always there... maybe just less noticeable sometimes? And then I will go through times where it seems especially hard.

Is anyone else like that?

I was told I had PTSD and was "borderline" OCD.

Hi crimsonelysian,

Welcome to PC. Everyone is a little different in how bad they experience PTSD.
Typically someone can be ok as you say and then be triggered and respond with a lot of anxiety and emotion to something that reminds them of their tramatic experience/experiences. And that is why people who have PTSD try to avoid certain things that carry reminders of something they experienced that was tramtic for them.

Thanks for this!

I definitely have days that are harder than others. Like Open Eyes said, sometimes triggers happen and it makes it that much worse. It is definitely different for everyone though! Welcome to the forum, there certainly is a lot of information here, and a lot of different perspectives, as we each have our own experiences.
I hope you find what you need!
