Are there any that are not totally recovery focused, where I can talk about how I feel without having to try and rationalize how to fit common advice that proves untrue to me should help me? Or without trying to pretend I am on some path to recovery. Just seems there is no help for the truly lost...as though we are just to wander around in this purgatory of an existence with nowhere to talk about it.

That may be a helpful sight for you, Hellion. I didn't read any posts ~ I just looked over the subjects covered & they looked to be what you may be searching for.

I think that in most places that you gp, to express your frustration and misery with PTSD, human beings have a natural desire to try to share their wisdom ~ in hope of helping others avoid some of their misery. Perhaps a post stating that you aren't looking for answers or ideas would help. You could say that you're just needing someone to listen. No cures ~ just being there with you.
