Yeah TS Chris... but the weather service doesn't tell us the truth all the time.. government controls what and when we're told... sorry, but true. I quit tracking storms and writing down the reports as they weren't accurate nor intelligible!!! anyway...

It has suddenly become a TS and now it's almost a hurricane... in one day??? Storm stress.

I need to scramble and find a generator and window a/c tomorrow... sigh the stores that deliver just aren't set up with what I need, nor fast delivery (you know, the one on sale isn't in stock garbage??) yeah right.

I wanted to get my computer fixed up tomorrow Storm stress. and I have a pedicure tomorrow.. Storm stress. LIFE! TOO MUCH!!!!

I tried eating today, after two weeks of eating tuna fish out of the can...and pretzel sticks. NOT. I was sick before I finished eating... barf. Storm stress.

Some days I just want to give up.

Don't give up. Can you get a generator too one with gas so if you lose power you will have power for the key things? I am keeping you in my prayers.

Well, here it is 4 am again.. and I haven't slept yet. Storm stress. I was able to get some sleep last night, even dreamed... which I haven't done in months (no REM sleep, too short of time sleeping and all that... Storm stress. ) It was a stressful dream... go figure! grrrr

I'm hyper about the storm... and I need to go buy a generator! If I don't do it today (later) then they are likely to be sold out soon... as the storm is coming and everyone will be buying them up. Storm stress.

I just get into too many decisions and questions when trying to purchase one... and one of them had the leverage bar opposite the wheeled end! That meant you had to PICK UP THE ONE END of the generator to put the weight on the wheels! I'm having trouble thinking about pull starting one (need electric start?) I sure can't pick one end up to move it! sigh. I'm so upset. I rarely get things done when I'm this upset Storm stress. I need to call T but I will be asleep when he gets into the office Storm stress. .. I hope I do sleep tonight...err this morning!

I need to see the weather... I hate this! I hate this! Storm stress.

I understand what you mean about the storms. I'm about one block from the ocean. We are the first to be evacuated.

Thanks all.

Well, though I didn't fall asleep till late this morning, when I woke I did go out... found that one store (that doesn't deliver) and bought a generator and window a/c and a rolling gas "tank" plastic container that holds 14 gal of gas. (Of course now I need to bribe my neighbor to take it to get it filled Storm stress.) I paid too much for that container, but overall I spent less for all of it than what I would have at the other store.

I then did go back to the other store, and bought an outside rubbermaid short shed to put it in. They didn't have any in stock, so I sweetly talked them into selling me the floor model. Since the order for the others were 2 weeks overdue, they might have been happy to get rid of the floor model so ppl quit asking for it???

I still need to buy more straps to tie it together and another lock for it, since the one I have will go onto the fence gate.... oh and I have to sweet talk that neighbor also into putting the wheels onto the generator and roll it around to the shed!

"Chris" originally wasn't due here til Sunday night, and maybe a hurricane, then continue to shorten it up, and now they expect it to be a hurricane tomorow night (Thursday?) so if it continues to strengthen, it might make cat 3 by Sunday???

Y'all blow down from the north and west ya hear, and send it away! heheheh

I did alot for not feeling like doing anything, I 'm so fatigued, and lying on ice pack for my back to try and prevent pain flare... oh well... I'm almost ready.

Sigh.. nothing's ever for sure until it happens...especially when talking about hurricanes! It's going more west at times, but maintaining WNW course...straight for South Florida.

I have done too much... and now must be aggressive fighting off pain and fatigue... ttyl Storm stress.

((((SKY)))) I am over in Texas..and we are hearing reports that Hurricane Chirs..not yet a hurricane from what we are told is to make an appearance in the Gulf of Mexico and head out way..that it is going to miss Florida all together..not good for us..but I was hoping this might calm your fears..of COURSE nothing is for certain..but ALL the patterns look GREAT for Florida..it has been heading more and more west..not North west every day! ((hugs to you))

Storm stress. Well... whatever everyone is doing keep doing it! Chris is being downgraded to a TS again... and going west over the mountainous islands (Hispanola and Cuba?) and might just completely break apart... let's all think that way, ok?

I'm all set though, now...for any storm... water, dog food, basic food stuff, generator, gas tank, window a/c, cords, and of course I have had accordian shutters on windows since the beginning... all I need now is a brain!!!! hehehe

T is delighted with what I pushed and did... even though I am paying for it a bit with increased pain and fatigue.

They have no idea what they are doing, OR they aren't bothering to tell us what they think is truth! NOw the weather service is saying the cone of probability is back to what it was originally... and how complicated the patterns for the weekend are.. HUH??? that's where we were days ago before they changed their minds the first time!

SKY..I hear ya..I have been watching it for days too..they keep telling us..in TEXAS that it is heading our way..its still over by Florid for crying out loud..how the hell could they possibly know that it is coming here and where it is going to hit yet?? They don't..I was here last year when Houston went CRAZY with all the evalcuations because they said it was going to hit here with Rita like it did Katrina in New Orleans..and then it ended up hitting two hours east of us..the evacuations caused just as much damage as anything..We kept saying a hurricane might as well have hit..People Just don't know..like you said!! (((((SKY))) I know you are stressing!!! I know many are

Yeah, well what they know and what they tell us are two different things. I quit plotting two years ago because I had become fed up with MY OWN PLOTTING according to their coordinates, and the discrepancies of what they were SAYING it had done or was doing....HUH??? Not to get political here, but it's the same as for the climate of the world... unless you study it yourself, you won't know what's happening...and can only surmise why.

Storm stress. LOL not.
