I had an anxiety attack in ptsd group today even a little asthma a coughing attack the topic was forgiveness when it comes to past trauma I think what triggered me was other members talking in somewhat details OMG I'm still shook up can't wait to see my t next week

its a shame you have to wait for next week to see your t. but it is common to have panic attacks when working on your trauma. the good thing is, panic attacks arent going to kill you. and you made it through it. good for you. the best thing a t told me about panic attacks was to relax when i felt one coming on because it is impossible to panic and relax at the same time. so when i would go to have one, i would imagine my body becoming a wet noodle. i would have to do it several times over but i didnt give up and it broke the panic attack cycle. it really works. try it sometime.

Thx so much for right now I see t every 2 weeks because of insurance and ptsd group weekly it wasn't like a reg panic attack first my body felt heavy then I was sweating then I felt NAUSEAUS then I felt angry and shaky
